The
characteristic of herbs and their efficiency are often a mystery. The
properties of herbs are sometimes not the result of one molecule, but the
effect of a pool of molecules working together. We believe that for some
purposes, the total extract of Centella Asiatica, gathering the main
triterpenoids, might be the key of the better efficacy. Thus, we decided to
provide a range of extracts concentrating the main terpenoids(Asaticoside,
Madecassoside and the Free genins) from 40% to 90%.
This total
triterpene extract is soluble alcohol 50°(v/v) and slightly soluble in water
and other solvent such as propylene glycol and blycerin. After solubilization
of the powder, the mixture is added before the emulsification.
